Yoshuya (Josh) Shimasaki is a long experienced Cinematographer/Director of Photography based in Sydney, Australia.   After 5 years of working as an ENG camera operator in Japan, he moved to Australia and has worked mainly  for Japanese television networks.  In 2000, he got a skilled permanent residence visa as Director of Photography.


He has more than 25 years of experience in the television and advertising industry for a wide variety of productions such as Documentaries, Sports coverages, News, Dramas, Corporate videos and Commercials.


His work has included ENG/EFP camera operator for International Sports events such as the Olympics, Soccer World Cup, Rugby World Cup and Formula 1 GP.
